  • Job Description The Inventory Clerk / Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of the facility while maintaining accurate inventory records.
This role ensures timely receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, supporting efficient warehouse and operational processes. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy and quality Accurately record and track inventory using inventory management systems or spreadsheets Prepare, pack, and ship outgoing orders, ensuring proper labeling and documentation Maintain organized storage areas and ensure inventory is properly labeled and stored Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory shortages Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery and shipment of goods Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if applicable) safely and efficiently Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety standards Assist with general warehouse duties and support operational needs as required Qualifications 1-3+ years of experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory systems Ability to lift and move materials as needed and perform physical tasks Good organizational and time management skills Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Preferred Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems (WMS) Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
