Job Description

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The candidate must be fluent in warehouse practices such as: Receiving goods, unloading vehicles; accepting deliveries; unpacking containers; filling bin locations. Verify items received by inspecting condition of items; comparing/count to purchase order and packing list; noting and reporting discrepancies. Document items received by recording identifying information. Preparing shipments by pulling product, assembling, packing, and labeling packages or containers. Packing finished goods for international shipments. Shipping of material transfers between branches. Working with carriers to schedule freight pick-ups. Filling out Bills of Lading and processing shipments via carrier shipping tools and portals. Documents items shipped by recording identifying information of items and transport information. Cycle Counts In addition, the candidate will be in communication with local couriers and will contact customers for pick-ups. There may be light inside sales activities in addition to shipping and receiving. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs throughout the day Forklift license (preferred)
