Shipping Associates in San Jose, CA
Schedule:
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Join our team! We are seeking dedicated individuals to assist with our shipping and inventory operations. Job Summary We are looking for motivated individuals to support our warehouse operations. You will work under the supervision of the warehouse manager to ensure efficient handling of shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks. Responsibilities Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory organization operations. Work under the supervision of the warehouse manager. Aid in product loading and unloading tasks. Scan and track incoming and outgoing orders. Receive and process new inventory, ensuring contents match manifest documents. Inspect receivables for defects, damages, or missing items. Properly scan and inventory incoming goods. Unload, stack, move, and place products in designated areas. Perform detailed manual inventory counts. Label warehouse stock for quick identification and retrieval. Stack, shelve, and stage items for storage and shipment. Fulfill and track outgoing orders. Collect, prepare, package, and label goods for shipment. Double-check items to ensure the accuracy of outgoing orders. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of tools and equipment. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to management. Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Adhere to health and safety rules and regulations. Collaborate with warehouse team members to complete assigned tasks effectively. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Previous warehouse experience preferred. Ability to stand for 8 hours, twist, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Excellent verbal communication skills. Familiarity with common warehouse tools and equipment. Thorough, alert, and detail-oriented. Dependable and responsible. Strong work ethic. Comfortable working independently. Prioritizes safety.
