• Temp-to-hire, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team.

In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of shipments, ensuring that orders are picked, packed, and dispatched seamlessly. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support timely deliveries, and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare outbound shipments by picking orders using RF scanners and order pickers, ensuring accuracy and completeness Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit Collaborating with Quality Control to ensure incoming goods meet standards. Processing Production Orders for WIP parts and shipping prep. Tracking inventory and updating orders in JD Edwards and WMS systems. Preparing accurate shipping documents like invoices and packing lists. Loading trailers for domestic and international shipments. Ensuring Customs Compliance by following C-TPAT procedures. Performing daily equipment checks and operating forklifts/pallet jacks. Being flexible and ready to work overtime when needed. Assist with shipping & receiving processes by inspecting incoming goods and recording transactions accurately Experience Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in shipping & receiving operations Demonstrated proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 or similar ERP platforms Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment with proper certification is a plus Familiarity with e-commerce order fulfillment processes including picking & packing for online orders Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and verifying shipment quantities Knowledge of warehouse distribution practices to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency Join us to be part of a fast-paced environment where your skills in shipping & logistics will directly impact our success!
