Hours:
Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm with overtime if/as needed.Pay Range:
$21.00/hr to $22.00/hr, DOEGENERAL SUMMARY
This position receives products, unboxes, and examines goods shipped and verifies completeness of shipment against bill of lading, invoices, and other records. Keeps records of goods shipped. Prepares products for shipment. Counts and compares quantity and identification numbers of units against order. Prepares identifying information and shipping instructions on containers. Moves containers to shipping dock using hand trucks, forklifts, or other similar equipment.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives, unpacks, and examines goods received and verifies completeness of order against invoices. Process paperwork and enter data into the computer. Delivers goods to appropriate areas for further processing such as QA or Stores. Troubleshoot problems with appropriate department. Enter drop ship information in system, print reports and distribute as required. Box and crate parts or palletize parts as necessary for both incoming or outgoing. Ship parts via UPS, including boxing and UPS documentation. Receive and deliver returned parts. Schedule ship methods, carriers, and dates. Load and unload major components such as dryers or compressors. Parts and materials handling as required. Assist co-workers when needed. Follow safe job practices by ensuring products are secure before loading lifts and ensuring your work environment is safe. Determine best procedures to perform tasks efficiently and accurately. Notify appropriate personnel if changes are required. Perform other duties as assigned by your Supervisor.KNOWLEDGE / EDUCATION / SKILLS REQUIRED
High School Diploma or GED Required Forklift experience required Seeking at least 1 year or more of shipping and receiving experience. Must have good computer skills to run shipping systems. Must have experience with UPS Worldship / FedEx Ship Manager / LTL shipping systems. Ability to lift 50lbs independently. Criminal background check required. Results are reviewed case by case.
