SHIPPING & RECEIVING CLERK
The shipping and receiving clerk is responsible for performing a variety of shipping and receiving tasks under general supervision. The shipping and receiving clerk will verify the order to match the received materials, key the received items into the inventory system, and prepare the items for proper shipment. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
JOB SUMMARY
Pull and process orders to ship out to customers as scheduled, including all LTL and parcel shipments. Builds orders as required using the RF Smart scanner. Communicates (email or teams) Weights and Dimensions for each shipment. Keeps open communication with offsite shipping team members. Organizes inventory in each location ensuring all parts are kept labeled and organized. Completes inventory stock counts as scheduled. Files completed shipping papers. Load and unload trucks as required. Organized empty totes and prepares them to be returned. Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in arranging
LTL & UPS
shipping is a must Minimum 2 years warehouse experience preferred Strong computer skills Knowledge of UPS World ship Operate warehouse machinery, as an example a Forklift Follow all safety rules and regulations Excellent Organization skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Exemplary customer service skills Detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks Ability to Lead a shipping team to meet company goals Able to work overtime as needed

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING
High School Education or GED equivalent desired 1+ years of shipping and receiving/warehouse experience required 1+ years of experience operating a Forklift desired Must be at least 18 years of age
