In this vital role, you will manage access control for employees, visitors, carriers, and contractors, ensuring smooth operations while maintaining security protocols. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help facilitate efficient shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities. Duties Verify and authorize entry and exit of personnel, vendors, and delivery vehicles at the gate using warehouse management systems and RF scanners Conduct thorough inspections of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and security Manage shipping & receiving processes, including loading, unloading, and documentation compliance Assist with order fulfillment tasks such as picking & packing, stocking, and order picking using reach trucks and pallet jacks Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently Maintain accurate records of all gate activities, shipment logs, and inventory movements in systems like AS400 or MRP software Support warehouse distribution operations by coordinating load & unload schedules and ensuring timely deliveries Qualifications Prior warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order fulfillment processes Valid forklift certification; experience operating reach trucks and pallet jacks preferred Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and documentation accuracy Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with experience in order picking & packing in an e-commerce environment Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading shipments, stocking shelves, and operating warehouse equipment safely Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Basic understanding of inventory management tools like AS400 or MRP systems is a plus This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a well-organized warehouse operation while developing their skills in logistics technology and distribution processes.
