Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our distribution center. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Duties Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damages, and verify contents against purchase orders. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and manage stock accurately. Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Load and unload packages using forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks as required. Maintain an organized warehouse environment by properly storing products and managing stock levels. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient shipping and receiving processes. Prepare shipping documentation and labels for outgoing shipments. Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock records. Qualifications Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is essential. Proficient in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks; certification may be required. Experience with RF scanners for inventory management is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
