Shipper / Receiver

We are currently hiring a Shippind & Receiving person to join our parts department. Position Summary Responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping parts and accessories while maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring compliance with dealership procedures. Key Responsibilities 1 Receive, inspect, and ship parts and accessories as directed 2 Maintain accurate physical inventory and proper stock levels Specific Duties 1 Perform all shipping and receiving activities in accordance with dealership policies and procedures 2 Report any overages or shortages to the Assistant Manager promptly 3 Stock all received parts and accessories in designated bins and locations 4 Manage special orders by properly tagging items and notifying appropriate personnel 5 Ship parts and accessories following carrier guidelines (e.g., UPS, FedEx, etc.) 6 Maintain inventory organization, ensuring items are stored safely and in saleable condition 7 Maintain bins, racks, and equipment; report any required repairs 8 Ensure bin labels and locations are accurate and up to date 9 Perform cycle counts and assist with perpetual inventory 10 Complete daily scanning of parts received from distributors 11 Inspect incoming shipments for damage and report within three (3) days 12 Distribute parts to drivers and maintain inventory logs Skills & Requirements 1 Strong organizational skills 2 Attention to detail 3 Ability to lift and move parts safely 4 Basic computer and inventory system knowledge 5 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
