Job Description
The Metal Shop is hiring Shipping/Receiving person in our Dunnellon, FL location. This position is Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 3:30PM. An Shipping/Receiving position will be responsible for reading incoming orders, boxing product, staging products for delivery trucks.
DUTIES:
- Reading order notes to fulfill orders.
- Picking orders using storage shelves or rooms by reading barcodes.
- Securely shrink - wrapping items and placements on pallets.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, standing, walking, bending & twisting.
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks.
- Managing stock including replenishment and performing general Shipping/Receiving duties.
- Other Shipping/Receiving duties as instructed by managers Qualifications include: Knowledgeable in Inventory Control and Processes Forklift Driver Experience Fulfill and organize orders to ensure customer delivery process is efficient and accurate Unloading/Receiving deliveries Picking items and staging orders for each company trucks and freight line trucks Must have reliable transportation Maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse Physical requirements include: Must be physically able to stand, bend, climb, or kneel for extended periods of time Ability to safely operate and maneuver Forklifts throughout the facility preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
