(QuickTie) is a construction and manufacturing organization headquartered in Jacksonville, FL. We are dedicated to developing, producing and marketing the best solutions for tying down wood frame and masonry structures exposed to wind and seismic forces. We do so by maintaining a friendly, fair and creative work environment respecting diversity, new ideas and hard work. The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for customer care and service of applicable orders, tracking shipments, picking, and packing products for shipping, preparing shipping labels, unloading freight as needed and verifying inventory received. Some interaction with customers may be required. This position requires a high degree of accuracy.
Essential Job Duties and responsibilities:
Maintain a safe and clean work environment Follow all safety policies and procedures. Keep work area clean and organized to include racks, shelves, and bins. Prepare orders by pulling materials, packing boxes, palletizing, and preparing shipments, and printing bills of lading and shipping labels. Ensure paperwork is accurate and complete for shipment and invoicing. Track shipments for customers. Assist in unloading and counting inbound shipments. Assist customers over the phone or by email. Assist in preparation of sales quotes for sales reps. Assist manager with inventory management. Perform other related duties as requested by management
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license, safe/good driving record Forklift operation experience is required Must possess visual acuity to read shipping documents and labeling. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. 2 years of warehouse experience preferred Familiarity in building/construction industry is preferred. Proficient with computer systems and Microsoft Office Good communication, organizational, time management skills; attention to detail Must be able to read, write and speak in English Must have reliable transportation to work Excellent attendance: capable of working overtime and weekends as needed
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to seventy (70) pounds. Must be able to stand, lift, and bend for up to ten (10) hours or more per day. Willing and able to work in a partially air-conditioned warehouse environment.
Compensation:
Staring pay rate is $18.00/hour Work Schedule Monday
  • Thursday 7 :00am
  • 4:30pm, Friday 7:00am
  • 12:00pm (noon) with 30-min lunches and 2-15 min breaks daily.
Overtime on Fridays as needed. Benefits for full-time employees include : Company subsidized health insurance (medical, dental & vision), Paid Time Off (PTO), life insurance, and 401k with company match.
