Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk / Parts Coordinator to join our growing team at Holiday Ice, Inc., a leading provider of commercial ice machines and related parts. This position is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments (using UPS WorldShip), managing inventory, and providing top-tier customer service by taking parts orders and assisting customers over the phone.
Key Responsibilities:
Shipping & Receiving Prepare and process outgoing shipments using UPS WorldShip . Receive incoming shipments and inspect for accuracy and damage. Ensure all shipments are properly packed, labeled, and documented. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping/receiving area. Inventory Management Accurately put away incoming inventory in designated locations. Perform routine cycle counts and full inventory counts as needed. Update inventory management system to reflect accurate stock levels. Identify and report inventory discrepancies. Customer Service & Parts Coordination Answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously. Assist customers in identifying and ordering the correct replacement parts. Take and process parts orders via phone and email. Communicate with internal teams to verify product availability and lead times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience using UPS WorldShip (or similar shipping software) is required . Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills. Basic computer proficiency (email, data entry, inventory systems). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of ice machines or refrigeration parts is a plus. Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.). Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Working Conditions:
Warehouse and office environment. Fast-paced with frequent interaction with customers and coworkers.
