Job Description

), a successful and growing technology-driven aerospace, defense and electronics company. Analog Modules, Inc. is recruiting for a Shipping Associate. The Shipping Associate's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following. Coordinates activities pertaining to verifying and keeping records on outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment per customer and sales order requirements. Determines items to be shipped, number of items and method of shipping from documentation folder, accounting department, or other department managers. Completes all shipping labels, packing slips, and tariff and declaration paperwork for interstate and international shipments. Contacts carrier representatives to arrange shipments. Generates serial number labels for all products being shipped. Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons. Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or select pre-assembled containers. Insert items into containers for shipping purposes. Records weights and shipping charges of shipment. Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers. Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Provides Supply Chain Supervisor with status reports regarding problems or accomplishments. Adheres to company procedures and policies regarding personnel and quality issues. Will be cross trained to perform stockroom duties when needed Other duties may be assigned. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in both domestic and international shipping, including standard export shipments requiring the submission of export information through the CBP/AES portal. Demonstrated experience in determining export documentation requirements and preparing all required export documentation. Preferred experience includes ability to recognize company ITAR shipments and the ability to file and submit export information for ITAR-controlled shipments in compliance with applicable regulations utilizing the CBO/AES portal. Must have computer knowledge and skills to perform and use company's inventory and manufacturing planning software. Must have knowledge of UPS and Federal Express shipping software and be able to utilize online shipping services of various other carriers. Must be well organized and detail oriented. Must also be able to effectively manage changes in priorities. Work Schedule Analog Modules' Team Members work a 9/80 schedule, which means our workweek splits on Friday. Full-time Team Members work 9 hours per day Monday - Thursday and 8 hours on Friday one week of our pay period and the following week they work 9 hours per day Monday - Thursday and have that Friday off. This allows Team Members to enjoy a three-day weekend twice a month. Benefits Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance.
