Shipping & Receiving Associate Industry:
Warehousing & Distribution Schedule:
8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
Compensation:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
You'll be responsible for the gatekeeping of inventory entering and leaving the distribution facility.
Shipment Tracking:
Verifying and keeping records on all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Software Logistics:
Utilizing shipping software (like UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, or an internal WMS/ERP system) to generate shipping labels, bills of lading (BOL), and customs paperwork.
Quality Assurance:
Inspecting incoming cargo for damages, shortages, or defects, and reporting discrepancies immediately to management.
Material Handling:
Operating pallet jacks or forklifts to unload delivery trucks and safely staging materials in the receiving zone.
Qualifications:
Experience:
1-2 years of dedicated shipping/receiving experience (avoid purely manual laborers; tech comfort is required). 1-4 years of general experience.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
Proven experience with shipping software and RF scanners. Basic math and computer data-entry skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently and stand/walk for an 8-hour shift. Apply online via employer's website. Must click Apply for more information.
