Outbound Inspector•(handling aviation parts)

Role:
Step into the aviation industry and become a vital part of a team committed to maintaining exceptional quality and compliance standards. As an Outbound Inspector•Level 1 , you will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and readiness of all outbound materials and documentation. This position plays a key role in safeguarding the integrity of outgoing inventory, helping maintain strong customer trust and compliance with internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough visual inspections of aviation components before shipment. Review part numbers, physical attributes, and documentation for consistency and completeness. Document inspection results clearly and accurately in the system. Identify and escalate any discrepancies or non-conformance issues. Issue internal material certifications as needed. Ensure packaging and preservation meet outbound standards. Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Adhere to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling protocols. Process returns and manage outbound tickets and order fulfilment. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team on process improvement initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned in support of operational goals.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year of experience in handling aviation surplus parts. General warehouse and inventory handling experience. Familiarity with ISO and/or AS Quality Standards (preferred). Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods. Physically capable of lifting up to 60 lbs using proper safety techniques. Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Effective verbal and written communication skills. A proactive team player able to work in a fast-paced environment.
