Job Description
Position Overview We're looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and fast-paced Order Fulfillment Specialist to ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. This role is critical to maintaining operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and shipping efficiency. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume environment, values precision, and understands that every package reflects the company's brand and reputation. Core Responsibilities Order Picking & Processing Accurately review and print picking tickets from warehouse systems Pick products efficiently based on order priority and warehouse location Verify SKUs, quantities, and product condition before packing Flag inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or stock shortages immediately Maintain FIFO practices where applicable Packing & Shipping Pack orders securely, neatly, and professionally to minimize damage Select appropriate box sizes and protective materials Ensure shipping labels are correct, visible, and unobstructed Process shipping through warehouse management systems and shipping software Meet daily shipping deadlines and carrier pickup schedules Quality Control Cross-check orders for accuracy before sealing Assist in reducing fulfillment errors, returns, and customer complaints Support inventory accuracy by reporting missing or misplaced products Maintain organized staging, packing, and warehouse areas Operational Support Assist with inbound shipment receiving when needed Restock packing supplies and maintain workstation cleanliness Follow warehouse SOPs and safety standards Support team productivity goals during peak sales periods Performance Expectations High order accuracy rate Strong productivity and speed while maintaining quality Consistent punctuality and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude under pressure Qualifications Previous warehouse, fulfillment, shipping, or logistics experience preferred Comfortable using warehouse systems, scanners, and shipping software Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout shifts Basic computer literacy Reliable transportation and strong attendance Preferred Traits Accountable Efficient Team-oriented Process-driven Problem-solver Detail-obsessed Schedule Full-time, minimum 40 hours/week Must be available during peak operational hours, holidays, and seasonal surges Compensation & Growth Path Competitive hourly pay based on experience Performance-based advancement opportunities Potential growth into Lead Fulfillment Specialist, Inventory Control, or Warehouse Management Success in
