The role ensures that all deliveries comply with purchase orders, quality requirements, and company procedures, while maintaining accurate inventory records.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive and unload incoming shipments in accordance with safety procedures Verify delivered items against purchase orders, packing lists, and delivery notes Perform visual inspections to identify damage, discrepancies, or non-conformities Record receiving transactions accurately in the ERP or inventory management system Label, tag, and route materials to appropriate storage or production areas Coordinate with Quality, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies Prepare and maintain receiving documentation and records Ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability of materials Support inventory audits and cycle counts as required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or logistics preferred Basic knowledge of inventory control and receiving processes Ability to read and interpret purchase orders and shipping documents Familiarity with ERP systems and basic computer skills Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to lift and move materials in accordance with job requirements Forklift certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain)
