Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage incoming shipments, verify deliveries, and handle pulling, packing, and shipping orders. This role is essential for maintaining smooth warehouse operations, supporting order fulfillment, and ensuring order accuracy. Prior experience with shipping management systems and equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is highly desirable. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, and inventory management within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments. Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, Pallet Jacks, and ladders Use basic math skills to count, measure, and accurately record quantities during receiving and order processing. Assist with order picking, packing and shipping to support outbound shipments. Maintain accurate records of received goods. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of shipments and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse shipping & receiving, including pulling and packing orders. Proficiency with warehouse equipment such as forklifts , pallet jacks, and ladders. Familiarity with ship management programs such as FedEx and UPS Basic math skills for pulling and packing orders. Ability to operate equipment safely following company safety procedures. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Physical ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds), stand for extended periods, and walk throughout the warehouse area.
