Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support warehouse operations, inventory movement, shipping, receiving, and material handling activities. This role is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, organizing warehouse and freezer storage areas, and safely operating forklifts and pallet jacks. The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, distribution, or cold-storage environments and is committed to safety, accuracy, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments. Verify product quantities, condition, and accuracy against shipping and receiving documents. Complete and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records. Organize and maintain warehouse, cooler, and freezer storage areas. Move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods throughout the facility. Stage products for shipment, production, or storage. Assist with inventory counts and inventory accuracy initiatives. Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies. Restack, wrap, and secure pallets as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, dock, and outdoor work areas. Support production and warehouse teams to ensure efficient material flow. Follow GMP, food safety, and company safety procedures at all times. Communicate inventory, shipment, or operational issues to supervisors promptly. Perform additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations. Forklift experience required. Experience operating electric pallet jacks and manual pallet jacks. Ability to accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience in food manufacturing, distribution, cold storage, or freezer environments. Forklift certification. Inventory control or warehouse management experience.
