Full time Cardinal Equipment Services is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk based out of our Winter Haven location. We're currently looking for Monday through Friday, working 6:30AM to 3:00PM. Job Summary The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will work as part of a team and have responsibility for safely shipping and receiving new and used equipment, parts, containers into and out of the facility.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Follow instructions based on customer and company requirements Verify and receive products as they enter the facility; report any discrepancies. Assist in unloading trucks. Verify paperwork and correctly enter information into the company computer system Package and ship products using various shipping methods. Maintain work area and equipment in a clear, safe and orderly condition. Operate handheld/PC to maintain records and input data Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or general education degree or a suitable combination of education and experience Basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received Good organizational skills and attention to detail Effective quality management and technical skills needed Follow all prescribed safety and security measures protecting all associates and company assets Minimum age 18 years old Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with safety policies Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job Ability to read, write and speak English Ability to utilize all company provided resources and technology Ability to maintain a neat, professional appearance within company guidelines Repeated sitting, standing on cement floors, walking, pushing/pulling, lifting, carrying, up to 35 lbs.
