Momar is Hiring a Shipper I Job Summary Momar, Inc., a privately owned specialty chemical manufacturing company based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Shipper I to join the Momar family. Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipper I is responsible for managing the shipment of all orders, materials, and products using the company's computer systems. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Record sales order details using the company's computer systems Label shipments with all required information Assemble containers and crates, pack goods to be shipped, and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions Oversee the loading and unloading of goods from trucks and other vehicles Operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods (as needed) Follow safe storage and handling procedures for various chemicals and materials Understand and apply proper shipping procedures for transportation of dangerous goods Complete any other tasks or projects assigned by management Required Skills & Abilities Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions and training materials Must be able to wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions without supervision Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively Education & Experience Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations Physical Requirements Ability to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 lbs Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and communicate clearly Must be able to perform job tasks in dusty, hot, and/or cold working conditions Equal Opportunity Employer Statement In compliance with the ADA Amendments Act (ADAAA), VEVRAA, and Section 503, should you have a disability and would like to request an accommodation in order to apply for a currently open position with Momar, please call us at 404-355-4580 or email hr@momar.com.
