Job Description:
Organizational Relationship:
This position is reported directly to
Loonie Supervisor Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
The ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to 50 lbs. The ability to stand or walk an entire shift. The ability to read measurements, work or calculate numbers, use handheld tools, including but not limited to handheld pallet jacks, pneumatic staple guns, industrial hot glue guns, and power drills. Understand how to stack pallet appropriately and Sorting, staging and shrink wrapping all pallets. Able to work in fast-paced team environment. Fast learner willing to help with Special Projects as needed.
Description of Duties:
Receiving and processing: Ensuring the quality and quantity of incoming materials and packages matches the packing and shipping slips.
Managing inventory:
Organizing and maintaining inventory levels and tracking materials that come in and out of the warehouse. Work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
Maintaining the warehouses:
Keeping the warehouse clean and organized, and following safety procedures and regulations.
Communicating:
Liaising with customers and vendors about orders and shipments. All applicants must follow Job Posting instructions as stated in the job bidding policy. Successful applicants will be evaluated during their first 5 days in the new position.
