Shipping Clerk

Handle export documents, including preparation of paperwork for parts and accurately checking paperwork when it returns for shipment. Accurate data entry of parts and finished product into and out of stock/storage. Pull products and materials in a timely and accurate manner for shipment according to the customer's request/order. Pack product and materials properly to avoid damage during shipment with proper paperwork. Check all part numbers and voltages to paperwork so customer receives error-free shipments. Enter Bills of Lading for truck shipments and perform invoicing of products shipped. Visually inspect packages for signs of damage or partially opened shipping containers. Communicate with carrier representatives to arrange and provide instructions for shipping and delivery. Track shipments to ensure they are delivered on time and update records. Prior shipping/receiving experience is required; 3-5 years preferred. Strong organizational skills including but not limited to being able to plan, focus, prioritize tasks, and attention to detail Knowledge of UPS Worldship, Fed Ex, and/or other carrier software is beneficial Willing to learn import/export regulations; certification related to the industry is a plus.

Pay:

$16.50 per hour
