Job Description:
The Shipping Associate is responsible for accurately preparing, processing, and coordinating all outbound shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery to customers. This role supports warehouse operations by picking, packaging, staging, and documenting materials according to company procedures and customer requirements. The Associate ensures accuracy, maintains inventory integrity, and upholds safety and quality standards while working in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment. Essential Job Duties Receive incoming materials from customers and suppliers accurately and promptly. Verify quantities and descriptions of incoming materials against packing lists. Pick orders using internal processes and pick sheets. Place materials on shelves, racks, or other designated storage areas in an accurate and orderly manner. Prepare all required shipping documentation for outgoing orders. Review all orders to ensure they are picked correctly before shipment. Safely operate all necessary equipment in the work area, including forklifts. Identify and count stock materials according to cycle count lists with accuracy and attention to detail. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Knowledge, Skills, and Education High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent education and shipping/receiving experience. Minimum of 2 years of shipping and receiving experience. Minimum of 2 years of forklift operation experience. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills. Excellent work ethic, reliability, and flexibility. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate, read, and write effectively in English preferred. Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to stand and bend for extended periods. Occasional stooping, crouching, and climbing may be required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally, following proper training and safe lifting practices. Ability to move throughout approximately 72,000 sq. ft. of a busy manufacturing/warehouse facility. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and communicate necessary information to coworkers. Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. Manual dexterity to operate computers and general office equipment. Correctable vision and hearing required.
Salary/Compensation:
