Full Job Description Job Summary:
Natural Stone Import/Wholesale distribution center is looking for experienced warehouse professionals to execute slab handling, shipping, receiving, and warehouse management duties. Products include but are not limited to Slabs, Tiles, Mosaics and Pavers.Duties:
- Perform shipping and receiving duties accurately and timely
- Check returned material for damage, verify and confirm quantity received against RMA, provide receiving documents to operations team, and return stock to the correct BIN location
- Assist in quality control procedures to maintain product standards
- Support stock replenishment and organization within the warehouse
- Collaborate with Warehouse manager to meet production goals
- Handle materials with care and follow safety protocols
- Follow container receiving schedule, prepare and conducts container unloading
- Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards
Requirements:
- Slab handling experience is required
- Prior experience with order picking using forklift is a must
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and quality control processes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Proficiency in product UOM conversion (SF to pieces base on product size)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling warehouse tasks
- High organized skills in time management, prioritizing, attention to details, and communication
- Good driving records
