Shipping and Receiving Associate

Key responsibilities and involvement include but are not limited to: Pick and pack orders correctly, ensuring that orders are packed in the most effective way to reduce cost and ensure products get to customers correctly and free of damage Schedule freight, both domestically and internationally, ensuring customs paperwork is done correctly where required Assist in material handling duties within immediate area or as directed by the Supervisor Assists in stock takes as directed • Proactively contribute to the quality control investigation prior to dispatching of product Ensure trucks are unloaded and customers are attended to with minimal waiting time Ensure work floor space is clear of pallets and placed in correct locations. Other duties as may be required The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate: Proven work experience in warehousing/shipping Good organization and time management skills Strong attention to detail Ability to read and understand serial tags Knowledge and experience of OSHA in a warehousing environment Forklift experience
