In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring products are stored, picked, packed, and dispatched seamlessly. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, order fulfillment, and equipment operation will drive smooth warehouse distribution operations. Duties Receive incoming shipments by verifying delivery documentation and inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items according to customer specifications Ensure proper stocking of products in designated warehouse locations using systematic inventory practices Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities within resource planning (ERP) systems Assist with cycle counts, stock replenishment, and inventory audits to support warehouse accuracy and efficiency Collaborate with team members to optimize order fulfillment processes for e-commerce and wholesale distribution channels Follow safety protocols during load & unload operations and operate equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks responsibly Experience Previous experience working in a warehouse environment with a focus on shipping & receiving operations Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and ERP software like AS400 or MRP systems Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification preferred) Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including order picking & packing, stock stocking, and order fulfillment Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and calculations related to shipping weights or dimensions Familiarity with e-commerce logistics workflows is a plus Ability to multi-task by answering phones, talking with customers, filing, and general office type work.
