Job Description

Our client, a leading logistics and transportation organization, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:
Monday-Friday shifts available: 9am-5:30pm and 7am-3:30pm; Tuesday-Saturday shift: 7am-3:30pm What's the Job? Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping requisitions to determine items to be moved or shipped Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and visitors Complete work safely, adhering to all safety policies and procedures What's Needed? Basic written and verbal communication skills Basic computer skills Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends Experience in dock or warehouse operations within the transportation industry Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and load/unload trucks What's in it for me?
