Assembly / Shipping & Receiving Associate (ASR) - Local to Chicago

at Insight Global, LLC in Chicago, Illinois, United States Job Description Job Description Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly, Shipping, and Receiving ( ASR ) Associate to support warehouse and production operations. This individual will be responsible for assembling products, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment. On site 5 days per week in Oak Brook, IL

• 40 hours per week.

• Perform light to moderate product assembly using hand and power tools
• Follow detailed work instructions, diagrams, or blueprints to complete assembly tasks
• Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips
• Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery
• Maintain inventory organization and assist with cycle counts or stock replenishment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to meet daily production goals Required Qualifications
• 1 to 3 years of experience in assembly, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
• Experience using hand tools and basic mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking or shipping systems
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Experience with inventory systems (RF scanners, WMS , etc.)
