Shipping Clerk

Key Responsibilities Assure that products are properly labeled and staged for on time shipment. Maintain records for packing and staging lists, proper labeling and filing quality control inspection sheets. Identify transport or packaging requirements. Monitor shipment tracking status and final delivery. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Some college preferred. 2+ years of experience in a shipping or warehouse department. Prior use of Microsoft Office. Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift operator certification.

Advantageous Candidate Skills Include:

Experience with SAP Experience with Bills of Material Ability to read blueprints Inventory control experience Physical Requirements Walking through the warehouse for the majority of an 8-hour shift. Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching to access inventory. Regularly lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs, with or without assistance. Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, ladders, and aerial lifts to move materials.
