SR Shipng & Recng Coord

Job Purpose The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator assists the Warehouse and Inventory Control Manager in the daily management of the Shipping/Receiving department and processes all associated transactions in the ERP software. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Assist in management of day-to-day activities of the Shipping/Receiving Warehousemen giving direction and priorities on receiving, picking, packing and loading material. Receive incoming raw materials, components, supplies etc.; ensure accuracy of order received against shipping and order records; may conduct initial inspection of the condition of materials Ensure orders are accurately packed and ready for shipment on scheduled day/time Coordinate with shipping and freight companies to schedule pickups and confirm deliveries Utilize company software to enter and manage inventory of incoming and outgoing materials, supplies and products Work with Manufacturing, Sales, Accounting and other company departments to address issues, shortages, and complaints Perform cycle counts and assist in creating KPI's related to inventory accuracy Qualifications High school diploma required One (1) to three (3) years experience with shipping and receiving preferred Previous SAP experience a plus Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD, and LTD Diversity & Inclusion Statement Metalex.
