This individual will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of product, raw material, and other items as they pertain to Warwick's operations. Daily tasks involve heavy usage of Warwick's operations software, physically packing, lifting, and moving boxes of finished product, and moving skids/pallets of raw material with both a hand jack and forklift. You'll work closely with our Customer Service Department to provide freight quotes, and you'll interact with logistics providers such as FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other freight carriers. This hands-on position involves both computer work and physical activity throughout the day. This position's responsibilities are not unique - you will work alongside other members of the Shipping and Receiving Department to accomplish these responsibilities. Responsibilities Coordinate, send, and receive inbound and outbound freight Complete the packing and shipping process of jobs once finished in production Provide freight quotes for the Customer Service Department Assist the Customer Service Department with any shipping claims processing Maintain communication with logistics and freight providers Assist the Material Handler in moving raw or work-in-process materials throughout the building, including use of Hand Jacks and Forklifts Assist other departments as time permits to expedite out product, including end-of-line packing, shrink wrapping, and other related tasks Qualifications Strong attention to written details Prior experience in a shipping or logistics role Comfortable working with Windows computers Current Forklift Certification or willingness to become Forklift Certified Desired Experience Prior experience in print production or quality control of printed and/or foil stamped products Prior knowledge/experience with international shipping Prior experience/exposure to the promotional product industry
