JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Process the receipt of purchased materials into inventory system and maintain physical records. Processes any kanban cards that have inventory discrepancies and communicates with warehouse cycle count on those Checks previous nights received in manufactured parts for accuracy Receives into inventory all received material from blanket and daily purchase orders. Processes inventory transactions from prior shifts to ensure inventory accuracy. Verify receipt discrepancies against purchase orders. Communicate issues such as shortages, overages, or damaged goods to supervisors or purchasing teams. Follow safety procedures and comply with company policies and OSHA guidelines.
Marginal Duties:
May fill in for Storeroom Production Planner as needed. May fill in for Storeroom Cycle Counter as needed. Perform cycle counts of production parts as needed. Assists with annual physical inventory.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
High School diploma or GED Required. 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong computer skills; familiarity with JD Edwards is a plus. Ability to read and interpret shipping documents. Good communication and teamwork skills. May be required to obtain forklift license. Salary Range - $24-31/hr
