Full-Time Position Summary The Dock & Shipping Associate is responsible for accurate and efficient loading, unloading, staging, and shipment of products. This role ensures outbound shipments are processed correctly, inbound freight is received accurately, and all dock operations follow company safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Key Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment
  • Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and/or purchase orders
  • Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies
  • Prepare outbound shipments, including packing, palletizing, labeling, banding, wrapping, and staging of material.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all incoming and outgoing freight Inventory & Documentation
  • Accurately record shipments in warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP system
  • Maintain organized dock area and staging lanes
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation
  • Follow FIFO or other inventory control procedures Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines
  • Maintain clean and orderly dock and warehouse areas
  • Secure loads to prevent damage during transport
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required Team Collaboration
  • Coordinate with warehouse, production, and customer service teams
  • Communicate shipment issues or delays to supervisor
  • Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned
  • Qualifications Required
  • 1+ year of warehouse, shipping, or dock experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Basic math and documentation skills
  • Ability to operate or willingness to be trained on forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Strong attention to detail Preferred
  • Experience with WMS or ERP systems
  • Experience with LTL, FTL, and parcel shipments
  • Work Environment
  • Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
  • Pay:
    $18.00
  • $20.
