Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS
JOB
SPECIFIC CORE COMPETENCIES
Ability to use materials management software to ensure products are received\distributed accurately and efficiently. Ensures that storeroom supplies are rotated and stocked in accordance with a first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory setup. Efficient at communicating with different departments to address and help with any particular supply need.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with all shipping and receiving functions, inventory management and maintaining inventory par levels in clinical supply rooms.
EXPECTED BEHAVIORS
Must have good communication skills, relate well to others and be detail oriented.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience with receiving, storage and distribution of supplies is required.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
52 lbs. floor to waist lift (example: jar of pickles to cart) Manual dexterity for use of manual and electric pallet jacks Warehouse duties 3/4 of day, hospital duties 1/4 of day
EQUIPMENT USED
Computer, Telephone, Pallet Jack - Manual & Electric, Printer, Fax Machine, Copy Machine.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Must see/hear/speak/write. Full vertical/horizontal use of arms/legs Push/pull cart of 250 lbs. and for weights greater than 250 lbs. will use team assistance. Lift to 50 lbs. independently and for weights greater than 50 lbs. must use mechanical device or team lifting. Stand and walk 90 percent of work day Deal with stressful situations involving emergency shipments and deliveries. Experience Required Previous experience with receiving, storage and distribution of supplies is required. Education Required High School or better
