SHIPPING/RECEIVING OPERATOR
Position Summary:
Receive all products into the warehouse and load outbound shipments Pick merchandise from warehouse for orders and review each order for accurate counts Use the computer system to do various transactions for shipping/receiving.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Receive materials into the warehouse, unload trucks and enter all merchandise into the computer system Inventory Transactions in the computer system Labeling certain items with correct part numbers when needed Load outbound shipments onto trucks Assemble part kits as needed Pick and review orders Log information, sort merchandise and help with inventory as needed Sort through returned merchandise and log the information in accurately Maintain cleanliness on the shop floor UPS World Ship Perform final packaging of completed orders Organize and maintain inventory and storage locations
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent, basic math skills required Warehouse experience preferred Forklift Qualification preferred Computer literate with Microsoft Outlook proficiency Must be able to lift 45lbs Excellent verbal communication skills Detail oriented Ability to work independently Ability/willingness to work with all levels of staff within the organization
