Job Description
Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview Responsible for ordering and receiving raw materials for Melt/Cast Department and maintaining all records. Other clerical duties as required. Responsibilities
- Order and receive raw materials for melt shop
- Ensure that silo levels and inventory are appropriate to meet production needs of the department
- Filing and maintaining department paperwork in compliance with company standards
- Assist Melt/Cast Manager with month-end raw material inventory reporting requirements
- Maintain uniform program for Melt/Cast by working with clerks from other departments
- Other duties as required by Management or Supervision Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and computer skills (email, Excel, etc.)
- Self-driven and motivated
- Accounting or clerical background highly preferred
- May require flexible schedule around month-end closing Steel Dynamics, Inc.
