Job Description
Join a Fast-Paced, Growing Team! BMW of Schererville is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our busy dealership operations. In this hands-on role, you'll play a vital part in keeping our parts and inventory flowing efficiently—ensuring our service and sales teams have what they need to succeed. What You'll Do Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage Accurately process, label, and stock automotive parts and inventory Maintain organized inventory records and documentation Prepare outgoing shipments and coordinate pickups with carriers Work closely with the Parts Department to support inventory control and cycle counts Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organized at all times Coordinate deliveries with vendors and internal departments Follow all dealership safety standards and company policies What We're Looking For Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or automotive parts preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis Basic computer and inventory system knowledge Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer Competitive pay with growth potential Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Supportive, team-oriented work environment Schedule Full-time position Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed Ready to Get Started?
