Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Overview Join our team a shipping and receiving clerk. This is a full-time position based in Winchester IN, working for a locally owned company.

Key Responsibilities Inbound Logistics:

Unload trucks, inspect incoming shipments for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips.

Inventory Management:

Record all received goods into the inventory system (WMS) and route items to the correct storage locations.

Outbound Logistics:

Pick, pack, and label products for outgoing shipments according to customer orders and company standards.

Documentation:

Prepare shipping documents, such as Bills of Lading (BOL), manifests, and customs paperwork for international orders.

Quality Control:

Identify and report any discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods immediately to management.

Equipment Operation:

Safely operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and postage scales.

Safety & Maintenance:

Maintain a clean and organized loading dock and warehouse area to ensure a safe working environment. Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Familiarity with shipping software (FedEx, UPS, DHL) and inventory systems. High level of accuracy in data entry and verifying SKU numbers. Strong verbal and written skills for coordinating with team members. Strong ability to work with technology

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
