JOB SUMMARY
Set up, operate scales,
and Count parts for Shipping manufactured precision aircraft quality fasteners. Essential Duties, Responsibilities and
Competencies:
Reads and interprets documents (blueprints, drawing, and/or
manufacturing work orders), to verify part numbers and quantities.
Operate a scale with efficiency and accuracy to count
parts assigned.
Pack and seal boxes for shipment to customer or storage on
inventory shelves.
Meets and maintains all productivity levels and quality
requirements to support departmental goals and schedules.
Uses computer to print labels.
Reviews inventory locations for putting away inventory.
Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and
follows safety regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
On-Site:
This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Pomona, KS location. Qualifications
OTHER COMPETENCIES
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret
documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and
procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply,
and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals.
Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general
education degree (GED). Preference given for warehouse and inventory control
experience.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to stand; use hands to hold, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The
employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop,
kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50
pounds. Specific vision abilities
required by this job include close vision, and depth perception.
Work Environment:
The noise
level in the work environment is usually very loud.
Training Requirement:
Training
requirement shall be in accordance with Mac Fastener Training Matrix and other
applicable training checklists. Compensation In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00. Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
