We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have several labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Shipping & Receiving Clerk opportunity at NDX Heumann in located in Topeka, KS. The regular scheduled hours for this position are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the
Position:
Receives case, opens case and disinfects case for production. Perform the scheduling function for each case received. Through LIS, enter demographics and customer information. Print preference notes matching to case. Move case into production area. Pack and ship completed case for delivery to the customer through local source or national carrier. Invoice cases and assist with billing questions or issues. Scan paperwork for each case for electronic storage. Answer incoming calls. Respond to all inquiries from customer's office. Refer all technical inquires to appropriate team member. All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Data entry and computer skills. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks. Attention to detail. Excellent customer service. Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Preferred:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Demonstrated relevant employment experience may be considered in lieu of education. Billing experience preferred.
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
Disinfectant process chemicals. Personal protective equipment as required. Office equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach. Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions. Good manual dexterity. Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time. Repeated bending and kneeling. May be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 20 pounds. Education Preferred High School or Equivalent or better
