Job DescriptionAs a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will report to and work closely with the Shipping supervisor to answer customer inquiries, assist in the receiving process, and provide order management with information, primarily through daily clerical activities. Organizational skills and abilities to communicate efficiently and effectively are of paramount importance. Proven ability to gather, analyze, organize, and retrieve data efficiently is highly desirable.

Job ResponsibilitiesMaintain receiving related documents either hard copy or computer based that are well organized. Accurate, easily accessible, and in accordance with set departmental standards as well as being ISO compliantUpdate system information related to the receiving department accurately and in a timely mannerMaintain department filesReceive, sort and distributeIdentify damaged freight in accordance with receiving department work instructionsOrder receiving related supplies as requiredPrepare, distribute and file documentsOther duties as directed.

Must be able to work Monday through Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent1+ years of shipping/receiving experienceExperience working with pack slips and bills of lading
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office softwareSAP operating system experienceStrong verbal and written communication skills Ability to organize work, meet deadlines and work with accuracy
