Job Description

Position Summary Support the receiving department by safely operating a forklift to unload, transport, and organize incoming products throughout the warehouse. Verify incoming shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and assist with auditing receiving paperwork. Shift is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm; $18.00/hour Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move materials safely throughout the warehouse. Load, unload, transport, and store products in designated warehouse locations. Verify inbound shipments against bills of lading. Scan products into assigned locations to maintain inventory traceability. Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to process inventory transactions. Work within multiple warehouse management systems to accurately move and track product. Assist customer service by validating customer purchase orders and receiving reports. Maintain an organized and safe work area. Work overtime as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous forklift experience preferred. Ability to pass forklift certification testing and maintain certification through company recertification. Basic computer skills. Experience using RF scanners is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Requirements Successful candidates should demonstrate:
Commitment to workplace safety and safe equipment operation. Basic math and counting skills. Ability to accurately verify shipments and inventory. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependability and reliability. Education High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Must successfully complete and maintain company forklift certification. Physical Requirements Frequent sitting and standing. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Occasional bending, twisting, and pivoting. Ability to work in a warehouse environment throughout the shift. #1698KY
