Shipping and Receiving Associate Job Description The Shipping and Receiving Associate operates drum and tote filling equipment in an industrial warehouse environment, ensuring accurate product handling, labeling, and inventory control. This role focuses on safely moving and repackaging drums, maintaining quality standards, and supporting production operations through effective communication, problem-solving, and adherence to safety procedures. Responsibilities Operate drum and tote filling equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines. Select and roll the correct drums onto conveyors based on product and customer requirements. Stencil and label containers to meet specific customer requirements for filling and shipment. Inspect empty containers to ensure they are suitable and safe for filling. Add dye to drums as required by product specifications and customer instructions. Support drum and tote shipping activities, including pulling full drums from the production line and placing them in designated locations. Repackage drums as needed to meet quality, safety, or customer requirements. Pump drums to flush tanks as part of cleaning, maintenance, or product changeover activities. Maintain customer quality control requirements by following established procedures and documenting work as needed. Perform daily inspections of pipelines and valves to identify leaks, wear, or other potential issues. Carry out minor maintenance activities within the scope of training and safety guidelines. Execute operating orders, work orders, and other associated documents accurately and on time. Communicate and collaborate with co-workers, contractors, and supervisors to accomplish daily work tasks. Identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and escalate concerns appropriately to maintain safe and efficient operations. Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while on the job. Perform daily housekeeping tasks to keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards. Move drums safely using conveyors, forklifts, and other material handling equipment as required. Assist with inventory activities, including counting, tracking, and organizing drums and related materials. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
