Duties Manage access control by verifying and authorizing entry for employees, carriers, visitors, and contractors at the gate using identification checks and security protocols Process inbound and outbound shipments accurately using Warehouse Management System (WMS) software and RF scanners Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, including checking shipment documentation, ensuring proper loading/unloading procedures, and maintaining shipment logs Support order fulfillment activities by coordinating with warehouse staff for picking & packing orders, stocking supplies, and preparing items for dispatch Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks to load/unload trucks safely and efficiently Maintain detailed records of all gate activities, shipments, and vehicle movements using AS400 or similar systems Conduct basic math calculations for inventory counts, shipment quantities, and order accuracy checks to ensure data integrity Skills Proven experience in warehouse management system operation and warehouse distribution processes Valid forklift certification with hands-on experience operating reach trucks and pallet jacks Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing, and inventory management (MRP systems) Familiarity with e-commerce logistics workflows and packaging standards for quick turnaround times Ability to use RF scanners accurately for order picking and inventory updates Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations necessary for order fulfillment Join us as a Gate Clerk to be an essential part of our logistics team — ensuring seamless operations while advancing your career in a vibrant warehouse environment!
