Job Description

Shipping and Receiving Associate responsible for daily shipments, receipts, material tracking, order packing, inventory support, and warehouse material movement. Requirements High school diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of related experience Experience using shipping software, including UPS and FedEx systems Understanding of warehouse activities and operations Computer skills Understanding of product tracking Ability to perform multiple daily warehouse and shipping functions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to prepare and pack domestic shipments Ability to prepare and pack international shipments Ability to verify materials, counts, lots, and documentation Ability to operate standard manual and automatic shipping equipment Preferred Skills Familiarity with ERP systems Experience with material tracking systems Experience with cycle counting Experience with 6S principles Experience using electronic scales Experience using foam machines Experience using paper cutters Experience using automatic baggers Experience with warehouse receiving reports Responsibilities Perform daily shipments of outgoing materials Complete daily receipts Receive incoming materials Post transactions into the material tracking system Save tracking reports at the end of each day Deliver packing slips to reception or storage areas Prepare and pack orders for domestic and international shipments Assemble orders according to documentation Confirm materials, counts, lots, and related information match order documentation Alert supervisor to order, material, or documentation issues Maintain 6S principles in the shipping materials area Alert supervisor when materials are low and require reordering Operate electronic scales, foam machines, paper cutters, and automatic baggers Use UPS and FedEx software to ship and receive products Cross-train in Material Handling group functions Complete receiving reports according to standard procedures Assist with cycle counting as needed Assist with year-end inventory count Assist with month-end order departures Move or expedite materials to the correct department or storage location
Pay:
