RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a key operational role, ensuring that all deliveries are received, checked, stored, and recorded accurately. We are looking for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable, with a strong understanding of inventory control and the importance of maintaining quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
Receive deliveries from suppliers and vendors, ensuring all items are handled efficiently and correctly. Verify the quantity and quality of goods received against purchase orders and delivery notes. Inspect items for damage, shortages, or discrepancies, and report any issues to management promptly. Store food, beverage, and operational supplies in the correct areas, following proper rotation and storage procedures. Maintain clean, safe, and well-organized storage areas in line with hygiene, health, and safety standards. Update inventory records accurately and assist with regular stock counts and stock audits. Support the kitchen, bar, and management teams by ensuring supplies are available when needed. Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding deliveries, missing items, order changes, or stock-related issues. Use inventory management systems and basic reporting tools to support accurate stock control. Help minimize waste, loss, and overstocking through careful receiving, storage, and record keeping. QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in receiving, stores, inventory, stock control, or a similar restaurant/hospitality role. Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. Good understanding of food, beverage, and operational supplies within a restaurant environment. Ability to check deliveries accurately and identify discrepancies or quality issues. Basic math skills and confidence working with stock records, purchase orders, and inventory counts. Comfortable using inventory management software or willing to learn new systems. Good communication skills and ability to work closely with kitchen, bar, management, and suppliers. Reliable, hands-on, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift and move stock items and stand for extended periods when required. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to maintaining high standards. Pay:
