Job Description

About the role: Elemental Machines is looking for an experienced, full-time, Fulfillment Associate. The Fulfillment Associate is an integral part of the Operations Team. The role will be accountable for all aspects of the Fulfillment process, such as processing orders & returns, handling product inventory, and supporting requests from the sales team. Candidates must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team and strive for personal growth in line with company goals. This is a full-time hourly position, requiring on-site attendance at our Cambridge, MA office. Applicants must reside in the Greater Boston Area.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for physically moving product in and out of inventory and processing order information using our ERP and Documentation Control systems (NetSuite and Propel). Processing, packing, and shipping orders. Monitor inventory levels. Maintain a clean and organized space. Provide clear communication to management regarding product levels and other needs. Assist in inventory moves, cleaning space, and returning product to inventory. Supports sales associates in the sales process. Assists in the completion of daily projects while keeping the focus on the customer experience. Demonstrates awareness and adheres to inventory control, work instructions, safety standards, and quality/regulatory standards. Satisfactorily completes all duties as assigned by management. Maintain a consistent work schedule. Is flexible and works well with peers and management to accomplish duties.
Requirements:
High school diploma or greater. Formal education in electronics is preferred, but not required. 2+ years of Logistics and/or Operations experience Strong knowledge of the Google Suite and Microsoft Office programs. Ability to kneel, stoop, climb ladders, use stairs, reach, pull and lift packages up to 50 pounds. Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience communicating to multiple departments. Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and figure out complex issues. Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and identify trends that impact organizational goals. Experience with computers, online communication systems (such as Slack), and using spreadsheets (used for tabulation of test results or other documentation) About us: Today's research, clinical, and quality control labs are expected to discover and produce at a pace once considered unimaginable.
