Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team here at Heat Trace Products, LLC, as a Shipping and Receiving Associate, where your energy and attention to detail will drive our logistics operations forward! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products through accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Your proactive approach will help maintain efficient warehouse distribution, support order fulfillment, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an engaging environment where your skills in warehouse management systems, forklift operation, and order picking will make a tangible impact every day. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and production plant Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accuracy Prepare outgoing shipments with proper measuring, testing, packaging, labeling, and documentation to meet customer specifications Conduct stock replenishment and inventory counts using warehouse management software like Axiom Assist with order picking and packing processes to fulfill customer orders efficiently Maintain organized storage areas by stocking products systematically and ensuring pallets are correctly stacked for safety and accessibility Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures Safely move raw materials and components to specific production lines or inventory storage racks Able to stand for long periods and lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with familiarity in shipping & receiving operations is preferred Hands-on experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment (certification preferred) Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including order fulfillment, stock management, and inventory control is preferred Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Axiom or similar ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning) Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring quantities, and verifying shipment details is required Experience with picking & packing orders accurately for both small parcels and large pallets is preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with using a multimeter to check electrical properties such as continuity or resistance is preferred This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in logistics operations while contributing to a thriving manufacturing environment.
