Job Description

Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the shipping department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.

  • 10:30PM What's the Job?
Assemble and fulfill customer orders for shipment to customers or other divisions. Schedule, load, and unload LTL freight and common carrier orders as requested. Process shipment paperwork, verify merchandise accuracy, and ensure proper documentation including BOL and postage. Packing orders into crates or pallets and arranging them onto dock lanes for truck routing. Utilize RF handheld scanners for order picking and restocking materials after receipt. What's Needed? Ability to meet deadlines and maintain excellent attendance. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Critical thinking skills and computer proficiency. Experience with warehouse equipment such as order pickers or reach trucks. Ability to communicate effectively and work well with team members. What's in it for me?
